| WELLCOME TO EMILIO ESTEBAN A factory combining the principles of tradition and modernity... Emilio Esteban SA epitomises the combination of both tradition and modernity. Tradition because the company dates back to 1941 and modernity because of its modern mills. Our main offices and facilities are located in Renedo, a village in the province of Valladolid (Spain). They include three mills: one for wheat flour, a second for cereal flours for human consumption and a third heat treatment line for cereals. The 1980s saw the construction of a new mill, followed in the 1990s by a second line for the production of special flours. This was followed by a major investment plan that culminated in 2007 with the creation of the cereal heat treatment line. Thanks to this innovation strategy, the mills, manufacturing processes, reception of raw materials, storage and delivery of the final products and the laboratory have all been automated and modernized. In addition, strict quality controls are applied at all stages of the production process. The exhaustive modernisation process also led to the implementation of our quality systems; we now have integrated management systems covering the areas of quality, the environment and food safety, and are in possession of the UNE-EN-ISO 9001,14001 and 22000 Standards Certificates. We also apply an exhaustive computerised traceability system that covers all phases of the production process right through to the final product in order to guarantee the safety of all our products. In a sector in which the final product is non-differentiated, Emilio Esteban SA considers differentiation through quality and care for the environment to be a key competitive advantage. We see quality as a global concept that forms part of the permanent quest for ongoing improvement and Total Quality. We are confident that our policy will make us highly competitive, whilst at the same time taking into consideration the current demands on international markets, enabling us to satisfy our customers’ needs and provide them with the services and products they require.
